Today I had the pleasure of doing Hair and Make up for Hayley Westenra for the announcement for her engagement . I was working for New Zealand’s Women’s Day Magazine with stylist Fintan Fitzgerald.
My brief we to keep a very natural look. Hayley wanted her hair curled. So i tonged it with Babyliss tongs. (the medium size). Lots of back combing and went over each curl with Tigi Catwalk curlesque curls rock amplifer. This is well worth buying as it really smooths out curls.
For Hayley’s eyes i brought out my favourite Urban Decay naked palette. This is a must in my kit. I love it and can create very natural looks from it.
I used sidecar, toasted and darkhorse on the eyes. On Hayley’s face i used Armani luminous silk foundation, Nars Gaiety blush on her cheeks and Mac ample pink on the lips .
