It was a pleasure to do the makeup for Gareth Malone, star of BBC2’s The Choir, for his Radio Times cover shoot last summer. He was promoting coverage of The Proms and it gave me a chance to put some of my preferred male grooming products on show.
Gareth has fantastic skin, it was just a case of controlling shine for the camera’s. I used Dermalogica’s Active Moist on his face, a very light mosituriser, and a little Armani Face Fabric, which I find is great for men’s skin. The finishes touches were applied with a Mac powder.
