In addition to the work I do as a film and tv make up artist and wedding make up artist I love to do fashion and editorial work also. I was asked by a photographer to come to his new studio in Waterloo to do the hair and makeup for Kara Lily Hayworth for a photoshoot he was setting up.
The brief was to emphasise the models hair which contrasted her pale skin. The first thought that came to mind was that she had the look of Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks so we played on this and followed the 50s style which complemented the outfit selected for the shoot.
I put her hair in rollers which gave the photographer the idea of shooting a series using rollersets.
